This is a song I started writing last night. It’s tentatively titled “The Real Me” and it’s something that I’ve been trying to get off of my mind. This is ONLY half of it. I haven’t finished the rest of the song yet but wanted to get some feedback before I finished. It’s a garage band demo. Don’t hate. :)
Sometimes your dreams are held over your head
You’re taught how to read but in school they never said
That life is always black and white
But some point you’ll paint it red
And you’ll grow up
And fall in love
And turn 21
You’ll see the world
And just forget that life’s just begun and say
Everybody walks alone
Sometimes you got to let em know
You’re finding just who you want to be
And life it gets a little crazy
It’s always yes or no or maybe
But that’s just how it’s gotta be
Is this the real me?
